Terms of Use

1. Basic Provisions

These Terms of Use govern the relationship between the operator of the Seesell platform and its users. The operator is Seesell s.r.o., registered at Lidická 5, 360 01 Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, Company ID: 21813183, VAT ID: CZ21813183, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Plzeň.

2. Definitions

• Seesell Platform — web application available at seesell.cz and www.seesell.cz, serving for listing and searching shared housing in the Czech Republic
• User — any natural or legal person using the platform in any way, whether as a visitor, registered user, lister, or applicant
• Lister — a user who creates and publishes a listing offering shared housing or rental accommodation
• Applicant — a user who responds to a listing by sending an application or message via the internal chat
• Listing — published content containing information about a shared housing offer, including photos, description, price, and contact details

3. Registration & Account

Registration is required for creating listings, managing favorites, and accessing paid features. Users may register via email and password or through external providers (Google, Seznam).

The user is obliged to provide truthful and current information. The user is solely responsible for the security of their account and password. In case of suspected account misuse, the user must contact the operator immediately.

4. Lister Rules

The lister is responsible for the truthfulness, completeness, and currency of all information provided in the listing. It is forbidden to:

• List housing that the lister is not authorized to offer or rent
• Provide false, misleading, or distorted information (price, size, amenities, location)
• Use photographs that do not correspond to the actual state of the property
• Advertise services other than shared housing or rental (e.g., sale, one-night accommodation)
• Post content promoting discrimination, violence, or illegal activities

The platform reserves the right to hide, edit, or remove a listing without prior notice if it violates these terms or applicable law.

5. Applicant Rules

The applicant undertakes to communicate with listers politely and truthfully. It is forbidden to:

• Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to listers
• Use the chat to promote own services or products
• Share personal data of third parties without their consent
• Misuse the platform for any purposes other than searching for shared housing

6. Paid Services

The platform offers paid plans (Starter 199 CZK / 30 days, Agency 499 CZK / 30 days) and one-time listing extensions (70 CZK / 7 days). All prices include VAT (21%). Payments are processed via the GoPay payment gateway.

Plans are one-time payments for 30 days. After expiration, the account reverts to Free. Users may purchase a new plan at any time. An electronic invoice is automatically issued for each payment and sent to the user's email.

7. Privacy

All personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. Detailed information on data processing, purposes, retention periods, and user rights is available in the Privacy Policy. Data is retained for the period necessary to provide the service and for the period required by law (invoices: 10 years).

8. Content & Copyright

The user uploading photos or text to a listing confirms that they own the copyright or have permission to publish this content. The user grants the operator a non-exclusive license to use this content on the platform for the duration of the listing publication.

9. Liability & Disclaimer

The Seesell platform is not a party to rental or accommodation agreements concluded between listers and applicants. All legal relationships regarding the actual rental arise exclusively between these parties.

The operator is not liable for: (a) the content of listings, (b) the truthfulness of information provided by users, (c) user conduct outside the platform, (d) damages arising from the rental relationship. Users communicate and enter into agreements at their own risk.

10. Account Termination

The user may request deletion of their account and all associated data at any time at info@seesell.cz. Upon deletion, all personal data will be removed except data required to be retained by law (e.g., billing data for 10 years).

The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of serious violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or inactivity exceeding 24 months.

11. Changes to Terms

The operator reserves the right to unilaterally change these Terms. Users will be informed of material changes via email or platform notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
